Follow these steps

  1. Open your PDF and choose the text, image or drawing tool.
  2. For text on mobile, tap the page to place it before typing. Select an item to adjust its color and size; use the tick to finish or the bin to remove it.
  3. Choose Export PDF, reopen the download and check added items at normal reading size.

What this tool actually does

Add text & images creates new elements over the page. Move and resize those elements without assuming underlying source text has been replaced or securely removed.

Choose the controls for your document

On mobile, choose Text before placing the field; edit after placement. Use the compact second-row colour controls, tick to finish and delete control to remove a selected addition.

Before your first export

For an annotated review copy, use a consistent color and keep additions clear of the original text. Select each addition to adjust or delete it. Added notes should explain the document without obscuring its source content.

The old wording still exists underneath

An overlay does not delete it. Use Edit existing text for supported replacement, or Redact for permanent removal of a region.

Check the result

Adds new elements over page content. Use Edit existing text for supported text-object replacements and Redact for secure removal.

Keep the original. When this task produces a file, reopen the download in the application where you will use it and inspect the affected pages. An illustration explains the operation; it is not a recorded processing test.
