PowerPoint to PDF: export guide

Export your presentation as a PDF in PowerPoint, then organize or compress it in PDF Studio. Direct PPT/PPTX conversion is not available here.

How to export

  1. Open the presentation in PowerPoint and review slide order and fonts.
  2. Use File → Export → PDF on Windows, or Save As/Export → PDF on macOS. Select the slides and quality settings you need.
  3. Reopen the PDF and inspect fonts, charts, clipping and hyperlinks. Then open it in PDF Studio if you need to organize or compress it.

What to check

PDF output is static: animations, audio and video are not interactive slides. Export settings and hyperlink support vary between PowerPoint versions. Online presentation services may upload your source; their privacy policies apply.

Common questions

Can I upload PPTX directly to PDF Studio?

No. Export a PDF in your presentation application first. This page is an export guide, not a built-in converter.

Will every font and chart look identical?

Inspect the exported result. Missing fonts, unsupported effects and different export settings can change appearance.
